We are a vibrant and thriving community, strengthened by our connections to our roots and traditions, but there is great diversity in those traditions. We are a tapestry of lineages, practices and backgrounds and by weaving those threads together, we tell the whole story.

Do you have a Métis story, family tradition or experience that you would like to contribute to the project?

Do you have photos of your ancestors in their Ribbon Skirts, or pictures of yourself in yours?

I want this to be a community project in every way and so I would not only love input on the material that I have created, but would love to have more contributors involved. This request is not limited to British Columbia, but spans across this entire continent, as so do our roots.

I will be creating a new page soon, showing off the vibrant Ribbon Skirt wearers of our community, accompanied by your own words. To contribute, follow the link below to email me.
